How TikTok earnings are calculated
Earnings = qualified views ÷ 1,000 × RPM. RPM (revenue per mille) is what TikTok pays you for every 1,000 qualified views, and it varies from one video to the next.
Qualified views
A view counts when someone watches for at least five seconds. Repeat views from one account count once, and views marked “Not interested” don’t count.
RPM
TikTok sets the rate for each video from where its viewers are, its engagement and how authentic the views are. Original videos that hold attention earn more.
Eligible videos
Original videos one minute or longer. Duets, Stitches, Photo Mode posts, ads and sponsored videos don’t earn Creator Rewards.
Example: 500,000 qualified views a month at $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000: 500,000 ÷ 1,000 × $0.40 = $200, up to 500,000 ÷ 1,000 × $1.00 = $500 a month.
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views? (2026)
$0.40–$1.00
Per 1,000 qualified views, as creators commonly report
The usual Creator Rewards range for videos over one minute. TikTok does not publish a fixed rate, and it changes from video to video.
Up to $2.00
For search-driven finance, business and education videos
Original videos that answer what people search for on TikTok land at the top of the range. Reposts and templated trend videos sit near $0.40.

| 10,000 views | $4.00 – $10.00 |
|---|---|
| 100,000 views | $40 – $100 |
| 1,000,000 views | $400 – $1,000 |
| 10,000,000 views | $4,000 – $10,000 |
Views that don’t qualify earn nothing, so earnings per public view are lower than these figures. The RPM in your TikTok Studio is the best guide to your own earnings.

Frequently asked questions
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?
Through the Creator Rewards Program, about $400 to $1,000 for 1 million qualified views, at the $0.40–$1.00 RPM creators commonly report. Only qualified views on eligible videos count, so 1 million total views usually pays less.
How much does TikTok pay per view?
Roughly $0.0004 to $0.001 per qualified view, which is why earnings are quoted per 1,000 views (RPM). Videos shorter than one minute earn nothing from Creator Rewards.
How many followers do you need to get paid on TikTok?
Creator Rewards requires 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days. Brand deals have no minimum, and TikTok LIVE gifts open up earlier, so many creators start earning before they join Creator Rewards.
Why are my qualified views lower than my views?
A view qualifies when someone watches for at least five seconds. Repeat views from the same account count once, views marked “Not interested” don’t count, and a video needs 1,000 qualified views before it earns.
How accurate is this TikTok money calculator?
It gives a range, not a promise. TikTok sets RPM for each video using where viewers are, engagement and view authenticity, so two videos with the same views can pay differently. Enter your own RPM from TikTok Studio for an estimate based on your account.
Do bought views or followers earn Creator Rewards?
No. The program counts only authentic followers and views toward eligibility and pays only for authentic, qualified views. Purchased views are not paid as rewards.
